Position Title: Job Analyst
Business Division: Human Resources

Primary Purpose of the Job:

  • Develop and/or assist in the development of job families to ensure accuracy and consistency with established format and facilitate their evaluation by the job evaluation panel.
  • Provide job analysis and evaluation service for QP's Directorates and Departments as well as outside companies and government departments, as may be required.
  • Ensure the integrity of QP's Job Evaluation Scheme & standardization of titles making sure that the organizational structure and the applicable Job Family level hierarchy is in order and consistent.
  • Promote the job evaluation scheme within the company and inform management and employees of the principles and application of the evaluation scheme.
  • Recommend improvements to job evaluation processes and procedures.


  • BA in Business Administration, Personnel Administration or equivalent plus formal training in Job Analysis and job evaluation principles and techniques.

Experience & Skills:

  • 8 years experience in human resources management/business analysis of which at least five years should be in job analysis/evaluation, with relevant knowledge in the application of the Corporation's job evaluation scheme.
  • Analytical and structured approach to resolving business problems.
  • Communication skills (including presentation, influencing and persuading).
  • Mature judgment/temperament. Tact and diplomacy.
